And… We’re BACK!

I (Tom) am writing this from the Border right now (4/4/22). Our current “UNBROKEN” campaign brought us back down here, for one of our 1000-mile “legs” of this 20,000-mile journey. By God’s amazing grace, these guys remembered us, quite fondly. So we are enjoying incredible open doors to love on all of them again. Updates soon.

PRAYER REQUEST: When the CDC lifts Title 42 on May 23rd, these guys are preparing for the largest illegal mass migration in history, and they’re already overrun. Please pray!

2000 Miles Along the U.S. - Mexico Border | Honoring Our Heroes Who Keep Us Safe

“Day after day I have stood on the watchtower, my Lord.
Night after night I have remained at my post.”

- Isaiah 21:8

A Dividing Line

Our nation’s border with Mexico has become a dividing line. In the midst of all the political crossfire dominating today’s headlines, we’re going behind-the-scenes to simply pray for the brave women and men of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, at every accessible station and port of entry along the U.S. - Mexico Border, thanking and honoring them for putting their lives, literally, “on the line” to keep America safe.

Cutting Through the Red-versus-Blue

God is not a Republican, nor is He a Democrat. By aiming above the partisan posturing, we hope to stoke the Church’s passion to bow before the Only One who can heal us. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Hands-On Prayer for Hands-Up Surrender

Blessing the Border Patrol Agents could well be described as Intercession by Proxy: That by praying for those who minister daily in an atmosphere that’s become such a flashpoint of offense, God might call His people, nationwide, to reaffirm our surrender to Him.

God’s Calendar

It is no small coincidence that the start of this expedition coincides with the start of the ancient celebration of the Ten Days of Awe (Ten Days of Repentance), which begin on Rosh Hashanah (Hebrew New Year) and end on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).

The most honorable group we’ve ever encountered

What an incredible journey this was! We had the opportunity to meet and pray-for HUNDREDS of CBP agents, and had favor all the way up to the Chief in Washington DC. All of us having worked with various flavors of law enforcement before, we all came away believing this was (and still is) the most honorable group of them all.

The tender care these men and women display in their care for these migrants is off the charts! They dig deep in their own pockets to bring toys and food for the kids, loving on all these folks and sympathetic to their circumstances. (And they still catch the bad guys. Pray for these heroes!
